The party was over, Karan had already noticed a change in Maya's mood, when they reached their room Karan tried to talk about Kritika but Maya was already asleep when Karan tried to pick that topic.
Next morning it was the time for the photoshoot, Maya, Karan, Shivang, Khushi, Kritika and a few other friends accompanied our couple for the photoshoot. The photoshoot was supposed to be held on top of a hill near Malva. Special vanity vans were set up to get ready in different attires and styles.
During the photoshoot the photographers asked our couple to kiss, Maya felt shy to kiss Karan in front of everyone but Karan leaned down & kissed Maya. The moment they kissed Maya didn't expect Karan to be so desperate. Everyone else cheered them as they were lost in the moment.
During the photoshoot Kritika asked the photographers to take her & Karan's photos, she did this before everyone so Karan could not refuse. Kritika came very close to Karan and gave poses which were not liked by Maya so after some 6 to 7 photos she interrupted and said, "Kritika it's our photoshoot, so please go and stand in some corner." "Oh,ur so jealous of my & Karan's chemistry, aren't you?" Kritika replied with a bitchy smile on her face.
"Jealous? Why would I be jealous? I'm his wife and girls like you cannot affect our relations." Maya replied with a steady & confident voice as she held Karan's hand. Kritika's mouth was zipped and she left the spot, the photoshoot was resumed "That's like my wife." Karan said as he pulled Maya close which left Maya blushing.
The photos turned out to be beautiful, and now it was time for the grand wedding. Prestigious quests from around the world were ready to celebrate and make beautiful memories.
Maya and Karan were all set in their wedding outfits. The couple made a beautiful entry at the venue. The varmalas were exchanged, and it was time for the Kanyadaan where Sujata & Vidut stepped forward. This was the moment when Maya missed her parents and tears came down her eyes. Sujata noticed this so she whipped Maya's tears and gently kissed Maya's forehead.
During the pheras Maya could not control the tears flowing through her eyes, she could constantly remember her father's words that, "Mai to meri Maya ki shaadi bohot he dhum dhaam se kruga." which he used to say when Maya was young. Karan noticed that Maya is not in a good state so he held Maya's hand tightly and completed the pheras.
After the mangalsutra and sindoor daan were performed Karan & Maya were officially announced as husband & wife.
Maya was taken to their room which was beautifully decorated with flowers & scented candles. Maya sat on the bed waiting for Karan.
As soon as Karan came Maya's heart started pumping fast. Although this was not their actual first night Maya was scared of what if Karan asked for "IT" as they are married now but Maya was not yet ready.
Karan lifted the dupatta which covered Maya's face and handed her some papers. "Ye kya hai?" Maya asked. "Khud dekh lo." Karan replied and Maya opened the folder which made her happy and shocked at the same time. "Admission letter! that to of the best university in India!!" Maya shouted "Yes, now you can continue your studies." Karan said after which Maya got very happy and hugged Karan out of excitement. "Thank you so much, this is the best gift. Thank you, thank you, thank you." Maya said, hugging Karan tightly.
"It's my pleasure luv." Karan said. Maya was very happy and was still looking at the admission letter, she suddenly remembered that she had also got a gift for Karan. She handed a beautiful perfume bottle to Karan and said, "Aapke gift jitna special nahi hai but muje kuch or suja nahi." "Tumhara diya har gift mere liye bahut special hota hai." Karan said as he held Maya's hand.
After a small chit chat Maya asked Karan to help her get rid of all the jewellery, heavy makeup and the hairstyle so they headed towards the dressing table. Karan removed the dupatta pinned on Maya's head while Maya was getting rid of all the jewellery and makeup. After some good 30 mins of struggling everything was taken out.
Karan saw Maya struggling to remove a pin from the dupatta which was placed on her shoulder. Karan tried to help her and the dupatta fell down which left Maya's waist uncovered, Karan could not take his eyes off Maya's naked waist. He slowly moved his hand on her waist giving a sigh to Maya.
Karan kissed Maya's naked back and rolled his fingers around her waist. He gently turned Maya towards him and looked deep into her eyes, Maya could not stop blushing as Karan caressed her red cheeks. Maya felt shy due to which she tightly hugged Karan & he hugged her back moving his hand around her waist.
All of a sudden Kritika enters the room with two gift boxes in her hand and sees Maya & Karan lost in each other. "Opss! I'm so sorry to disturb the newly weds" Kanika said as she headed close to the couple. "Kya kam tha itni raat ko?" Karan asked her, "Vo mai ye gifts dene aayi thi, Maya this is yours, and Karan that's yours." Kritika said, handing them their gift and added, "Chalo chalo now open it, and I hope you guys like it." "Nahi we'll open it tomorrow, pls leave now." Karan said.
"Pls yaar abhi open kro na, I want to see your reaction. Maya tum he samjao isse." Kritika said. "Ab Kritika itna keh rahi hai to let's open it" Maya said looking towards Karan. "Ok fine." Karan replied.
They opened the gift, Maya was gifted with a beautiful gown whereas Karan received a photo album titled as "The golden memories" Karan saw the album and after seeing the very first page he got angry and said, "Ye kya hai Kritika?" "It's a photo album, filled with memories. Ismai humari sari photos hai from collage to being the CEOs of each other's company. Or ismai hamari Dubai & Bali trip ki photos bhi hai. Those trips were so memorable and full of love." Kritika said as she took the album from Karan's hand and opened the photos.
"I don't want it. Take it back." Karan said "Karan I know we don't get along now but these memories are for life and I'm gifting this as a good friend not as an ex-girlfriend. Pls accept it." Kritika said handing the album back to Karan who saw towards Maya and accepted the gift only after Maya asked him to.
Karan threw the album on bed and went to the bathroom saying, "Saare mood ki band bja di." to himself. Maya sat on bed and saw the album filled with Kritika & Karan's photos. Maya felt jealous after seeing those photos. Karan came out of the bathroom & saw Maya sitting with the album. Karan took the album from her hand and said, "Yaar, it's rubbish. Mt dekho isse." as he kept the album on the study table. "Aapne kabhi bataya nahi muje apne past k baare mai. Ye photos dekh kr I feel ki mai aapko janti he nahi hu." Maya said while removing her bangles.
"Yaar kuch khass nahi hai. Mai or Kritika school se saath the we were best friends and slowly we got attracted towards each other. Ek raat jab hum ak party se ghar ja rahe the I could not control and told her that I like her, and to my surprise she liked me too. Fir we dated for 2 years, but slowly that feeling, that love and all the emotions we had seemed to be lost. Humare bich kuch special spark rha he nahi and that's when I realised ki vo sirf ak attraction tha. I told her, she felt the same and we mutually broke up.
But ak din we lost a huge business deal because of her, tb we had a very bad fight and everything was over." Karan said as helped Maya get rid of her hairstyle. "What if you feel the same for me in future? What if you feel that marrying me, being with me was a mistake?" Maya said as she took a pin from Karan's hand.
"Maya please don't compare our relationship with my past relationship. You are different, you are special and moreover I'm matured now and I know what I feel for you is not attraction. It's a very pure feeling of love." Karan said as he caressed Maya's hair and lost in thought. "Love?" Maya said in a low voice as her cheeks got red. "Kya? Love? n.no..I mean yess..noo..a..aa Mai abhi aata hu." Karan said as he realised that he had just revealed his feelings and left the room after which Maya went for a quick shower with cherry like red cheeks.
Karan already came back when Maya came out after changing. Maya did her skin care and sat on bed, beside Karan and asked, "Aapki favourite sweet kya hai? Kl pehli rasoi mai vahi bnaugi." "Tumhe kya saari sweet bnani aati hai?" Karan asked. "Ha, meri cooking skills A1 hai." Maya said. "Great! Sweet mai mujhe Kesar Rassmalay bohot pasand hai. Vahi bnana kl." Karan said. "Done, Acha chalo kl jaldi uthna hai let's sleep now." Maya said. "Jaise aap kaho patni ji" Karan said and turned off the lights.
[Next Morning]
Maya woke up early and got ready in a beautiful red saree which belong to her dadi saas. Jagruti & Sujata had specially mentioned Maya to wear that saree on her first day after wedding. Maya looked very pretty, She soon did her make up and jewlery and headed towards the kitchen where all the helpers were waiting for her. Maya noted all the ingredients which were supposed to be brought from the market and gave the list to one of the helper.
Meanwhile the helpers got stuff from the market Maya selected her reception outfit for tonight. Everyone was already awake and Maya was already stressing out about her pehli rasoi so she went in her room and stood in the balcony waiting for the helpers to bring stuff. Karan woke up and saw a beautiful lady in his balcony and said, "Good morning biwi ji." "Kya good morning? It's a stressful morning." Maya replied from the balcony.
"Kya hua? Kisi ne kuch kaha kya?" Karan said heading towards Maya. "Nahi nahi. I'm just worried about my Pehli rasoi. Agar kuch gadbad ho gyi to? Meri impression to pehle din he kharab ho jayegi sabke samne." Maya said. "Aree kuch nahi hoga, and agar kuch hua to mai hu na, I'll handle it don't worry." Karan said, giving a glass of water to Maya.
In a while a helper came and told them everything was ready and they can start making rasmalai now. Maya quickly rushed to the kitchen and started preparing rasmalai. While Karan and Shivang planned a surprise dinner for Maya after the reception tonight.
In an hour Rasmalai was ready to serve. Maya was preparing the dish to serve when Jagruti came and said, "Sb se pehle ye bhagwaan ko bhoog mai chade gi." "Theek hai ma rasmalai ready hai chale hum isse bhoog chada dete hai and fir sabko serve bhi kr dege." Maya said and headed towards the temple with Jagruti.
Meanwhile, Kritika secretly entered the kitchen and tried to add some salt in rasmali prepared by Maya but failed as Karan & Shivang who came looking for Maya saw her doing so and stopped her. "Ye kya kr rahi ho Kritika? Kya chahti ho tum? Itne din se mai dekh raha hu tum humesha humare past ki baatie Maya ke samne kar ke usko upset karne ki koshish krti ho. Why are you doing all this?" Karan said in an angry tone.
"Ohh Karan baby, tumhe hai kya laga I would let that commoner bitch ruin your life? Shivang tum he btao kya Karan uss low-class ladki ko deserve krta hai?" Kritika said and added, "As a very good friend mai just try kr rahi hu ki vo ladki tumse khud he duur chali jaye. So that tumhara naam bhi badnaam na ho and then we can be with each other, just like good old days."
"Mind your words Kritika, mai kuch bol nahi raha that doesn't mean tum meri Maya ko kuch bhi bologi. Don't you ever dare to address Maya like that or else you know me and about us being together, that's impossible." Karan said in a steady manly voice. "But Karan yaar..." Kritika said but was interrupted by Karan, "Kuch nahi sunna mujhe, I don't need your advice. And moreover tumhari raai kisi ne mangi bhi nahi hai so you better keep your mouth shut or leave the palace right now." Karan said.
And then Maya entered the kitchen, seeing her Kritika left the kitchen. Maya asked what happened but Karan did not tell her anything.
In a while the sweet was served to everyone and they could not stop praising it. Everyone loved it and Maya had definitely won everyone's heart. Seeing this Maya was very happy.
[In Afternoon]
Maya was resting in her room when Karan said and complimented her for the rasmalai. "Aaj se pehle kisi ne meri cooking ki itni taarif nahi ki hai jitni aaj sabne ki hai." Maya said. "Yaar sach mai aaj sabka dil jeet liya hai tumne. Maine kaha tha na ki sab ache se hoga. Tum aise hi zyada tension le rahi thi." Karan replied. When someone knocked on the door and entered, it was Shivang.
"Finally tu Knock krna sikh gaya Shivang." Karan said amusingly. "Bhai vo choro aap or bhabhi mere saath chalo . I was getting bored so I invited our friends for a card game." Shivang said and took Maya & Karan with him.
When they reached the game room Maya said "mai bs dekhugi, I don't know how to play cards." "Kya yaar Maya, cards jaisi simple game nahi aati tumhe?" Kritika said with the intention & tone of making Maya feel embarrassed but in return Maya replied, "I don't know how to play cards but still I pulled out the king." wrapping her hand around Karan's. Kritika sat their num as she did not expect such a reply from Maya's side.
Karan leaned down towards Maya's ears and said, "That was amazing" Maya's face was lit with a small smile after hearing this. "I'll teach her how to play." Karan said and everyone started with the game. Two hours passed by and no one realised that, Khushi got a call from the stylists to bring Maya to dress her up for the reception. That's when Khushi stopped the game and everyone realised that they've been playing for 2 hours, Everyone headed in their rooms to get ready while Karan and Shivang verified that the surprise they had planned was perfect.
"Bhai sab theek hai but I'm worried about Kritika, what if she spoils the surprise?" Shivang asked, "Hum kisi ko pata he nahi lagne dege ki we have planned this special dinner." Karan said. Unknown of the fact that Kritika overheard everything.
It was the reception time. Businessmen, actors, politicians, everyone were present to congratulate the newly wed couple. Maya & Karan made a beautiful entry in a vintage car. Maya wore a beautiful blue gown while Karan wore a blue suit.
Everyone complimented the couple and enjoyed the reception. After the reception got over Karan told Maya that he had planned a beautiful surprise for her, and took her to the terrace where a beautiful dinner was set up.
Maya was amazed to see the setup, "Fairy lights are my favourite." Maya said and added, "All this is so beautiful, I love this. Thank You so much!" and held Karan's hand. The couple sat on the table and were above to start the dinner. They were disturbed by Kritika who was fully drunk and smashed a wine glass on the floor in anger.
"What the hell Kritika? Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?" Karan said. "Karan meri jaan don't you realise mai kya kr rahi hu? I want you yaar. I want you badly. I cannot leave without you!" Kritika said coming close to Karan & hugged him. "Go away Kritika. Tum pagal ho gayi ho." Karan said as he got rid of Kritika's hold. "Maya tum jao I don't want you to see all these rubbish things." Karan said. "Rubbish? Meri feelings tumhare liye rubbish hai? Karan please understand, I need you. Iss Maya ko chor do or mere paas wapis aa jao. Please please please, yaar." Kritika said pushing Maya away from Karan due to which Maya mistakenly stepped on the glass piece and hurt herself.
Karan rushed towards Maya and tied his handkerchief on Maya's bleeding feet. Karan called Shivang and asked him to take Kritika to her room and Karan lifted Maya in his arms and took her to the room. Karan called the doctor who treated Maya's feet and asked her not to walk for a couple of days because the glass pies had torn her feet's tissues.
As soon as everyone knew about Maya's injury they came to Maya & Karan's room and asked Karan how it happened. Karan described the whole incident to them and everyone was angry at Kritika.
[Next morning]
Karan was making tea for himself and Maya when Kritika knocked the door and entered the room seeing her Karan said, "I don't want to hear a single word from you just leave the room before I do anything bad." "Karan room nahi mai Malva chor kr he ja rahi hu...I mean mai vapis Mumbai ja rahi hu. Shaadi k liye aayi thi jo khtm ho gyi so just bye kehne aayi thi and I also wanted to say sorry for last night. I was drunk and I did not realise mai kya kr rahi hu ya kya bol rahi hu. Maya I'm really sorry. Aap dono please mujhe maaf kr dena and please don't have any hard feelings for me in your heart." Kritika said.
"Nahi Kritika, we don't have any hard feelings for you. Don't worry." Maya said after which Kritika left. "Yaar Maya tum itni achi kaise ho? Usne tumhe itna hurt kiya and fir bhi tum usse iss tarah baat kr rahi ho." Karan said, giving a cup of tea to Maya. "Vo sab usne nashe mai kiya tha and agar vo guilty hai uss baat ko lekar then theek hai na, kisi ko maaf karne se humara kuch nahi bigdega." Maya replied to Karan.
