[At the royal palace]
Everyone was eagerly waiting for Karan and Shivang, they were all worried about their security. "Kha reh gye Karan or Shivang? Pta nahi kya ho rha hoga vha" Sujata said to others in a very worried tone. "Rajkumar hai dono, unko kuch nahi hoga. They are strong enough to fight with people." Vidut said, giving a breath of relief to Sujata. "Mujhe to uss ladki ki chinta ho rahi hai, pata nahi uske ghar wale kya karenge uske saath." Jagruti said followed by silence.
A sudden voice of ghungroo from the main entrance caught everyone's attention. A beautiful girl in a violet suit was standing behind Karan & Shivang. "Tum dono theek ho na?" Jagruti interrogated and added, "Who is this beautiful girl?" "Ha badi ma hum theek hai, or ye Maya bhabhi hai." Shivang said as he introduced Maya in a very happy & welcoming tone.
"Maya bhabhi?" Sujata spoke up as she was in shock & worried at the same time. "Mai aap ko sab explain karta hu." Karan said to others and added "Maya ji aap inke sath room mai jaye and rest kijiye." while pointing towards a servant. Maya couldn't see eye to eye with anyone, she simply nodded and went behind the servant.
After Maya left Karan explained the whole situation at Maya's house to everyone. Everyone was shocked to hear this news as they were not prepared to hear this. "Log kya sochenge? Aisa karke tumne ye sari news jo newspaper mein aayi thi use sach prove kr diya." Sujata said to Karan while shrinking her eyebrows.
"Pr choti ma mere pass koi or option nahi tha. Meri vjah se uski life barbaad ho jati, or agar usse abhi akela chor deta to khudko kabhi maaf nhi kr pata." Karan said in a confident tone.
"Log jo bhi kahe pr tumne bohot sahi kiya Karan, humari vjah se kisi ladki ki zindagi kharab nahi honi chahiye." Jagruti said while putting her hand on Karan's shoulder. "Ha, sahi keh rahi ho Jagruti, mai khush hu ki humara beta sirf khud ke bare me nahi sochta, ye ak sache or ache raja ki nishani hai." Maharaj Vikram said.
"Me Maya k pass jati hu, pata nahi uss bichari pr kya beet rahi hogi." Jagruti said and headed towards Karan's room. Maya was sitting near the bed and crying hard. Jagruti knocked the door twice but did not get any response so she opened the door and went inside. She ran towards Maya seeing her in this condition and hugged her tightly.
"Bs beta kuch nahi hoga ab tumhe. Sab theek ho jayega hum sab mil kr sab theek kr dege, don't worry." Jagruti said after which Maya realised that she was not alone and quickly opend her eyes and got up.
"Ra-ra-rani sa aap, Nam-nam-namaste" Maya said in a low voice while wiping her tears. "Rani sa nahi Maa kahiye. Tum hamari bahu ho ab." Jagriti said while putting her hand on Maya's chin and lifting it up to have a clear view of her face.
"Ab rona mat, sab theek ho jayega chinta mat karo. Mai kuch khane k liye bhejti hu kha lo or rest kro. Aage kya karna hai woh shaam ko dinner ke baad decide hoga. Tab tk ache se rest kro and take care." Jagruti said as she caressed Maya's arm.
Maya fixed her dupatta, a beautiful flower vase caught her attention which was placed on the side table of the bed. Maya loved it, took it in her hands and was seeing the small minute details.
Suddenly the door of the room opened which scared Maya and the vase fell down and was shattered in small pieces. "I-I'm sorry galti se gir gaya." Maya said while picking the pieces.
"Don't be sorry Maya, koi baat nahi" karan said while holding Maya's hand and stopping her. "Helpers will clean this ur the queen now, ab ye sab tumhara kam nahi" Karan said with a soft smile on his face which was followed by a long eye contact.
It was as if their eyes were deep ocean and their hearts were drowning in the ocean, making them fall for each other. This beautiful moment ended with a knock on the door when a helper brought food for Maya.
[After the helper left]
"Kya aap ki family ne muje accept kar liya? Ab kya hoga??" Maya asked Karan in a very low voice which barely reached his ears. "Ha sab mere decision se bohot khush hai, or aage kya hoga ye to pata nahi pr jo bhi hoga acha hoga don't worry." Karan said while cutting an apple for Maya, he unknowingly took a slice of apple and moved his hand towards Maya's mouth.
"Ohh, sorry sorry I didn't mean to disturb the newly wedds. I'll come later" Shivang said and tried to leave the room but karan realised what he was doing, quickly kept the slice on the plate and asked Shivang, "knock karna nahi aata tujhe? Ab bata kya kam hai?" "Mai to bs bhabhi ko company dene aaya tha, I thought aap office chale gaye hoge and bhabhi akeli hogi." Shivang said.
"Ji nahi mai aaj office nahi ja raha to aap kamre se ja sakte hai" Karan said while making an annoying face.
"Aap yahan rest kijiye mai yahi hu kuch zarurat ho to muje bata dijyega." Karan said as he sat on the desk and turned on his laptop while he asked Maya to rest comfortably on the bed.
In no time Maya was in deep sleep. Seeing Maya sleeping so peacefully a small smile appeared on Karan's face.
After some time Maya suddenly woke up, she was restless & could not breath properly. She tried calling Karan who was present in the same room but her voice box didn't open, she started taking deep breaths which caught Karan's attention. He saw Maya seated on the bed with red eyes and struggling to breathe. He quickly rushed towards her and started rubbing her back, gave her water and tried to comfort her. He didn't know what to do. He was above to call Jagruti but was stopped by Maya.
In a few moments Maya got better and Karan asked, "kya hua tha? Are you ok? Should I call the doctor?" "It was a panic attack, I get it whenever I have some bad dream or flashbacks, uss raat mandir mai bhi mujhe panic attack he hua tha." Maya said while sipping some water.
"Are you ok now? If you are comfortable then share all your problems with me. I'm there for you. Tell me what bad dream or flashbacks you had while you were peacefully asleep?" Karan asked while wiping Maya's tears.
"Vo aaj subh ghar pr jo hua vo sab mujhe bahut disturb kar raha hai, koi mere saath aaisa kyun krega? Maine kisi ka kya bigada hai? Agar aaj aap nahi hote to pata nahi mera kya hota." Maya said, "Koi aap ka kuch bigadna nahi chahta tha. Ye sab meri impression down krne k liye kiya tha.
But I promise jisne bhi ye kiya hai na I won't spare that person, uski vajah se tumhe befizul mai bahut suna pada hai. That person will have to pay for everything." Karan said as he turned red hot in anger.
