[At the royal palace]
"Karan...Karan...karan" karan woke up as Jagruti shook him. He woke up and to his amazement the whole Raghuvanshi family was staring at him as if he had committed some crime.
"Humko bin btaye humari bahu dundli or milvaya bhi nhi" Jagruti amusingly told karan, "ha karan bhai at least mujhe to bata dete." Shivang said while hitting Karan on his arm. "Ye sab kya hai Karan, tumhare rajya abhishek k 6 mahine pehle ye sab baate logo ko pata chalne theek nahi hai, you should have been careful." Maharaja Vikram said while putting his hand on Karan's shoulder.
"Ak minute ak minute, aap sab kiski baat kar rahe ho? Kon bahu? Kaisi khbr? Kya chal raha hai koi muje kuch bataye?" Karan got confused and curiously asked everyone.
Shivang handed over the newspaper to Karan and said "Ye khabar bhaiya."
Karan saw his and Maya's photos from the temple and was shocked as well as angry. "Whoever has done this will not see the next day of his life. I won't spare that person" Karan glared in anger.
"Shant ho jao beta, pehle hume ye batao ye ladki kon hai?" Vidyut, Karan's uncle & Shivang's father calmed Karan to which he replied. "Ye Maya hai, unke ke sath mera aisa koi relation nahi hai. We have met for 3 times only and there's nothing special, pr muje abhi uske ghar jana hoga quiki ye khabar sun kr uske ghar vale use pata n hi kaise treat krege. I need to be with her right now."
"Maya? Ye to wohi ladki hai na jiski jaan tumne bachayi thi or iski shaadi zabardasti se ho rahi thi? Maharaj Vikram asked Karan. "Ha baba, ye wahi ladki hai. Pta nhi kyun pr uss din k baad se I cannot take her off my brain. Randomly kabhi bhi uske khyaal mai kho jata hu, uski chinta hoti hai or pta nhi ak alag attraction mehsus hota hai uske pass." Karan said without realising that everyone was shocked seeing this side of him.
"Ye mamuli feeling nhi hai Karan beta, kisi special insaan k liye he ye feelings aati hai. Tumhe pata nhi hai but ur falling for that girl." Jagruti spoke while patting karan's head leaving Karan in thoughts. "Ma abhi ye sab discuss karne ka time nahi hai, I need to be at Maya's place. Vo bahut pareshan hogi." Karan said as he got up from his bed and headed towards his closet to get dressed.
"Ma-baba I'm leaving, please pray ki sab theek ho jaye." Karan said while closing the buttons of his white shirt. "Bhai mai bhi aapke saath aata hu. You might need some help" Shivang said and they both left.
[At Maya's house]
Kamni threw water on Maya while she was sleeping peacefully and Maya woke up instantly and heard,"Ye sab kya kr dala tune? Pure samaj mai kya izat reh jayegi humari" Kamni said this words while picking up Maya harshly while holding her arm. "Kya-kya hua hai?" Maya asked in a usual soft voice. Narsinh threw the newspaper towards her feet. As Maya saw this her hands started shaking and she could not process what to speak. "Iss ladki ko is ghar mai la kr bohot badi galti kr di hai maine. Ab iski saza Janvi ko bhukat ni padegi, pta nhi ab meri Janvi se kon shadi krega" Kamni said while Maya was still processing the whole thing.
"Ab ye ladki yaha nahi rahegi, bohot seh liya isse, Kamni nikal ise ghar se bahar aaisi badchaaln ladki ko mai apne ghar mai kabhi nhi rakhuga." Narsinh said as he turned red in anger. Kamni held Maya and dragged her towards the door. Maya came out of her thoughts and said, "Maine kuch nahi kiya, ye jhoot hai.""Sahi galat jo bhi ho, teri vjah se humara naam badnam hua hai, hamari beti ki zindagi kharab hone vali hai" Kamni said as she pushed Maya out of the main gate.
A huge crowd was gathered near their house. Maya begged Narsinh and Kamni not to throw her out of the house. "Mai kaha jaungi?Kya krugi? Muje mt nikale ghar se in sab mai mera koi kasoor nahi hai, ye sab jhoot hai please trust me." Maya said as she held Narsinh's legs. "Rajmahal ja agar vha vo log rakhle to reh lena varna mar jana. Humse ab tera koi naata nahi hai. Aaj akhbar (newspaper) mein jiske sath naata juda hai tera usi ke pass ja." Narsih said while pushing Maya away with his leg.
Maya got up, joined hands and was still trying to convince them, "Mat kijiye mere saath aisa mera aap ke siwa kisi se koi naata nahi hai." Maya said. Narsinh slapped Maya which was seen by Karan & Shivang and Karan ran towards Maya who was above to fall but someone saved her and made her stand. As Maya looked towards the person she saw that it's Karan,their eyes clashed and it was as if Maya's eyes talked with Karan's and he got to know about the whole situation.
Karan's eyes turned red in anger, he went close to Narsinh and said,"Ismai Maya ki koi galti nahi hai ye sab joth hai. Or hamare bich kuch nhi hai." "Agar aapke or iske bich kuch nhi hai to aap yahan kyun aaye? Rajkumaro k naam to bohot ladkiyon k saath judte hai, koi us ladki k ghar ja kr sab clear krne nahi baithta. Kuch rishta hai isi liye to aap yha hai." Narsinh said with a gleams of fear in his voice and added, "Or ab iski vjah se humara naam kharab ho gya hai, agar ye iss ghar mai rahegi to humari beti Janvi se kon shadi karega?"
"Aap saaf saaf ye kyun nhi keh dete ki Maya ko ghar se nikalne ka ek bahana mil gaya aapko. Main itna to janta he hu ki aapko aur Aunty ko Maya bilkul pasand nahi hai. Koi baat nhi Maya yaha nahi rahegi, Maya yha se behtar jgah deserve krti hai."Karan said to Narsih and added, "Maya kya aap mere sath chaloge?" to which Maya didn't react.
"Rajkumar ki rakhel banegi ab ye, jb mann kiya tb Rajkumar maze lege iske, Maya jaisi khooburat ladki ab rajmahal ki nokar ban kar rahegi" Everyone present their started murmuring these words. "Rakhel? Nokar? Nahi. Maya pure hakk se Rajmahal mai rahegi. Meri patni banegi vo or aap sabki Maharani banegi ."Karan said these words in a loud voice which led to a pin drop silence and Maya could not think of how to react and what to speak.
Karan picked a rock from the round, scratched it a bit on his finger. "Aap sabke samne Mai maya ki maang bhar kar usse apni dharm patni or Malva ki hone wali Maharani ghoshit krta hu."Karan said as he filling Maya's Maang with his blood.
"Maya ab aap hamare saath chalo. Mehal mai sab bohot chinta mai hoge."Karan said to Maya as he held Maya's hand and Maya followed him with low eyes.
[On their way to palace]
"Ruko, please car rok dijye" Maya said restlessly. The driver stopped the car and Maya got down from the car and said, "Rajkumar mai nahi aa sakti aapke sath, Mai rajmahal k liye nhi bani hu." Maya said with tears in her eyes. "Ye kya baat kr rhi ho aap? Aap patni hai humari or agar hone vali rani hai. Raniya mehel k lie nhi bani to kon bna hai?" Karan said. "Par kya raj pariwar mujhe apnayae ga? Aap ke riti riwaz kite alag hai, ye sab mere liye nahi hai." Maya said. "Are bhabhi aap itni achi ho hum kyun accept nahi kare aapko? Or aapko pata hai meri maa bhi ak small family se belong karti hai, or aaj vo pure mahal ko sambhalti hai." Shivang said to Maya.
"Mai aapko kaise akele chodu?. Agar aap nahi chalegi mahal to mai bhi aapke peeche aaunga. Usse acha hai aap car mai baithye or chale hamare saath. Trust me aapko koi pareshani nahi hogi or sab theek ho jayega." Karan said to Maya as he opened the car door for her, and Maya sat in the car quietly as she was left with no other option.
